Terrific, unused Pre-Linen Era postcard, featuring a Victorian (or perhaps, pre-victorian era) lady in a round vignette. The card was printed in Germany and is marked Meissner & Buch, Leipzig, Kunstler-Postkarten Serie 1557. Iris Serie, Miniaturen. Ges. gesch.
Divided back, Never Mailed, Never Used. Measures appx. 5 1/2" Wide by 3 1/2" Tall.
Condition is Excellent, with No Rips, No Bends, No Tears, No Stains, No Holes, No Writing, Very Little Soiling. The corners show some wear. Note: There are a few minor spots on the back.
