Shipping Policies

Shipping Methods

Most of our items are very light and flat, and as a result, we have found the United States Postal Service to consistently do a good job. That being said, we have chosen to use them exclusively, as our shipping service.

Generally items will be shipped via First Class Mail Delivery, and on occasion we can upgrade you to Priority 2-3 Day Delivery at no extra cost.

If the item is extra heavy, such as a large book, several magazines, etc. We may choose Media Mail or Book Rate Delivery as the delivery method, if this is the case, we will let you know.

If you would like us to use an alternate shipping method, we will do our best to accommodate. We have used UPS (United Parcel Service) as well as FedEx (Federal Express) in the past.

Please note, we are located in a rural area, and do not have access to central shipping drop-off locations, so these couriers will have to come to us to pick-up. Some carriers charge a small fee to do this.

Shipping Costs

Standard shipping of all of our items to U.S. addresses is FREE (see above). However, if insurance is requested/required and/or additional services are necessary, we will provide those costs and options to you. International shipping starts at $2.20 for most items, please contact us with international shipping questions.


The safe arrival of your item, is always one of our concerns, so we carefully package all items as if we were sending them to ourselves. When applicable, we use Stay-Flat Cardboard Mailers, Heavy-Duty Shipping Tubes, Bubble Wrap, Tissue Paper, Shipping Peanuts, etc...

Shipping Insurance

Insurance is optional on all items, unless otherwise specified in the item's description.

If you desire shipping insurance, please contact us in advance. The rates are reasonable: $1.30 for up to $50 of merchandise, when shipping within the United States, via U.S. Postal Service.

Shipping Damage

We can not be held responsible for damages which occur during transit. And we are not afraid to recommend or even (in rare cases) require Insurance. But, if you decline shipping insurance and you item is damaged in transit, we will not be able to refund your money or exchange your item.

If you did purchase Insurance (optional), and your item arrived damaged, KEEP THE PACKAGE, PACKING MATERIAL AND ITEM and contact us immediately. We will instruct you on how to process your claim with your carrier.
