Lithographs and Bookplates
From The Nature Library of Animals, Illustrated by R.E. Todhunter
Outstanding bookplate lithograph illustration of the Virginia Deer, by R.E. Todhunter. Highly detailed, with bright and vibrant autumn colors. The back side of this book-plate, is an illustration of The Elk... I chose to feature the Deer side based on my personal preference, but both sides are eaqually beautiful. This illustration came from The Nature Library of Animals, Selected from the writings of Neltje Blanchan, author of "Bird Neighbors," "Birds That Hunt and Are Hunted" (Game Birds), "How to Attract the Birds," and "Birds Every Child Should Know." Published by Doubleday, Page & Company in 1926. The page measures appx. 5" Wide by 8" Tall.
No Rips, No Tears, No Holes, No Crease Folds, No Foxing, No Soiling, No Writing, and only Very Slight Discoloration along the page Edge. Note: There is a Very Small Stain on the very bottom page edge.
