This booklet is filled with great illustrations and black & white photos. The cover artwork is an artist's conception of the SNAP-10A space power system, which was launched on April 3, 1965. This was the world's first operation of a nuclear reactor in space. The reactor is the assembly at the right end of the space vehicle. William R. Corliss (Author).
