Promoting Charles H. Sawyer for Governor and Other Republican Candidates
Charles Sawyer was elected the 41st Governor of New Hampshire, serving from June 2, 1887 – June 6, 1889. This is an original handout from that election campaign. A fairly well preserved piece of political history. Printed a bit offset to the left, the ticket features the New Hampshire State Seal (1860s version).
Also on the ticket are Martin A Haynes for Congress; John C. Linehan for Councillor; Alvah S. Libbey for Senate; as well as several outher County Officers and Commissioners.
Condition is Good, but note it is fairly delicate. No rips, no folds, no writing.
